Use Cases
The two use cases attempt to map the application of RePoSyD both in the context of a procurement project and a supplier project and are therefore presented separately. However, this does not rule out combining them for a holistic product development project.
Procurement Project
The example of the procurement project essentially describes the process steps required to create a system specification. The determination of requirements for the project and the provision of services are not yet included in this example.
Supplier Project
The aim of this use case is to illustrate the activities when a supplier receives a system specification and has to develop a new product or make a decision to adapt an existing product to customer requirements. The example is kept simple to illustrate the functions and possibilities of RePoSyD. Other processes such as the sales process with Go/No Go decision, the strategy process or contract negotiations would be part of a company-specific definition of the process, but would go beyond the scope of this example. Nevertheless, the functions of RePoSyD can also be used in these processes.
