Supporting processes can be used in all process steps.

• Project Planning is a crucial part of project management that focuses on the detailed planning and definition of the steps required to successfully complete a project. This includes setting timelines, budgets, milestones, assigning tasks to team members
• Information management is the strategic planning, management and control of information as a resource within a company. It encompasses all tasks that are necessary to use information effectively and efficiently, from its collection, storage and processing to its provision and destruction.
• Configuration management is a system development process for achieving consistent product attributes throughout the entire life cycle of a product. The elements of configuration management mapped in RePoSyD must be understood as part of a higher-level configuration management system.
• Decision management is the combination of business rules and machine learning to help companies understand and automate the right actions in a process. It is about supporting or replacing decisions that are often made by humans through systematization and automation. In the current version of RePoSyD, the focus is on linking the decisions with the triggering or affected design data, as well as systematically recording the decisions and the processing sequence.
• Risk management is the systematic process of identifying, assessing and managing risks that could endanger a company, project or organization. The aim is to identify and manage risks at an early stage in order to ensure the achievement of company and project objectives and minimize damage.
• Review management refers to the systematic management and response to development results to ensure that the maturity of the results allows a low-risk start of the next development step. It includes the planning of the reviews, their execution and the monitoring of the processing of the deviations recorded in the reviews.
• Action item tracking is an approach to organizing and tracking ad hoc tasks in projects to ensure that all those responsible know and carry out the necessary steps to achieve goals. It involves documenting tasks that arise from meetings, discussions or project planning, clarifying responsibilities and setting deadlines.
